Mercato is committed to provide and deliver you the best quality product and as per your specifications. We make our best efforts that it reaches you without any damage to the product and with complete satisfaction to you. However, sometimes due to some unavoidable reasons or certain circumstances that are beyond our control, you might receive your product with some defect or damage. There can also be a case when you might have ordered a wrong product by mistake and you realize it later. But, need not to worry!! We are there to replace the product and refund your money.
Reasons for Return
- Damaged product – if you receive a damaged product, we will replace it completely free of charge.
- Incorrect product – If you receive a product that is different from what you ordered, we will send you the correct product free of charge, as long as you return the incorrect item completely intact.
- Size exchange – if you ordered a wrong size, you may exchange for a new item with the correct size, as long as you return the incorrect item completely intact, additional charges may apply.
- Refund due to dissatisfaction – If you are unsatisfied with our products, you may request for a refund, as long as you return the incorrect item completely intact and within the specified time.
- Change of address or shipping details – If you need to change any details regarding the order you must inform us immediately and additional charges may apply.
- Missing Item – If you ordered multiple items but didn’t receive all the items and has missing items, we will send you the missing item completely free of charge.
Eligibility for Return
The product will be eligible for return or any of the reasons listed above if:
- It is completely Unused. Not Washed, Not Ironed, Not put on a hanger or any form of alteration.
- The product is intact in its original condition and has not been altered or tampered with. Packing must be intact as sold.
- You notify us within 7 days of product delivery at our Customer email ID specified on our website
- Initiate Return of the product within 14 days from the date of delivery.
- The price tags, labels, receipts or invoices are not tampered.
- For items lost in shipment, claims, if any, must be communicated not later than 7 days after the estimated delivery date.
NOTE: We Reserve all rights to reject and refuse return/exchange if the items do not meet our standards. We also reserve the right to charge for additional charges if any incurred due to shipping etc.
Please note: Refund or replacement is subject to proper inspection and checking by our team. Any damages to the product due to mishandling of the product or any alteration will not be considered for Refund/Return. Our team will validate the same and an intimation will be provided to you. We do not refund due to buyer's remorse.
Domestic Returns: We usually arrange for the order to be collected from your address, however, if this option is not available, the customer will have to ship the order to us at your own expense.
International Returns: All customers must send the order back to us by themselves unless we have a collection service available in your region. We will provide you with the address, Please contact us before you initiate this process, do not send the items without our prior approval. We will not be responsible for any lost items sent without our approval.
Mercato will start the refund process only after receiving the product. The refund will be made on the basis of mode of payment selected by you at the time of purchase.
- Credit Card/Debit Card – the refund will be credited back to the credit/debit card within 10 working days.
- Net banking – the refund will be credited back to the bank account.
- Any other mode of payment – a cheque for the refund will be made in favour of the name that is provided on the billing name at the time of purchase. It will be sent at the address provided at the time of registration.
- Cash on Delivery orders cannot and will not be refunded in cash, it will be refunded as points or as an online payment.
We follow the stringent process of refunding for any product. You need to send back the product to us within 30 days. Post receipt of the return product, we will ask our team to validate and check the return. If the product is found eligible as per our policy, we will credit the appropriate amount into your respective account. However, if our team finds it not eligible for refund, we will send back the product to you. The entire process will not take more than 10 days of our receiving of package from you. Also, in both the cases, you will be intimated about the same over the email.
Cancellation or Modification of orders
We usually do not entertain the orders modification or cancellations. However, we understand that there are cases when you really need to make some changes to your orders placed or update your account information (like shipping address). For that, please contact us immediately at our customer care and we will take your request in case the process of shipping your product has not been initiated.
In case your order has been initiated/processed, then you cannot make any changes or cancellations, it will be shipped as usual.
